Matthew Slodowy
Associate Attorney
Matthew Slodowy has over 15 years of dedicated legal experience. A former Magistrate Judge and Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney, he brings a deep understanding of the criminal justice system from both sides of the courtroom. While still in law school, Matthew worked at his school's criminal defense clinic representing indigent clients and also clerked at the Illinois Attorney General.
Throughout his career, Matthew has handled a wide range of criminal matters, including DUI, drug offenses, violent crimes, theft, and weapons violations. As a former judge and prosecutor, he is known for his strategic approach, strong courtroom advocacy, and skilled negotiation. He is also fluent in Polish.
When not practicing law, Matthew enjoys collecting art, riding motorcycles, and playing music.
